A sail panel for a Triumph TR7

I don't recall the last time i actually saw a TR7 but someone handed me the remains of a part of one and asked me to remake it. There are a few rust gaps in the panel so this weekend I'm off locally to visit the car and see if i can fill the information blanks in to recreate the panel.

It looks fairly easy as a first impression till you realise its curved in both directions which suddenly takes it from a folding job to a pressing job. How much of a steel pressing job remains to be seen.

Its another low volume part and obviously a low sales one too but i feel that's where I'm slowly creating a niche, manufacturing panels no one wants :-).

I will add a few pictures to this or maybe the next blog post as i get more used to how this blog thing works and if i think i can actually make the TR7 sail panel.. more to follow
